Guest visit of Ukrainian scientist Dr. Lyudmyla Chernova within the framework of an aid program of TU Dortmund University
In view of the current situation in Ukraine, TU Dortmund has been providing funds since spring 2022 to enable scientists who have fled as a result of the war in Ukraine to spend time at TU Dortmund. This program is financed by the rectorate and the host faculty. A total of about 60 applications were received, of which about 20 people could be placed at one of the local faculties.
As part of this assistance program, Dr. Lyudmyla Chernova, Associate Professor at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding in Mykolaiv (Ukraine) joined the Department of Technology Management. Dr. Chernova's research focuses primarily on foresight methodology, strategic management, development of organizational and technical systems, programs, management models and risk management. In 2017, she was awarded the Verkhovna Rada Award of Ukraine for the most talented young scientists in the field of basic and applied research and scientific and technical developments for the scientific research "Innovation models and mechanisms for managing regional and sectoral development projects".
At TU Dortmund , Dr. Lyudmyla Chernova worked together with Prof. Dr. Tessa Flatten and Dr. Bastian Kindermann on a project on customer integration in new product development. They investigated the important role of the team for customer integration as well as the moderation effects of team social cohesion and team autonomy.
