TIE Institute wins two Teaching Innovation Awards
The Department of Business and Economics awarded two courses of the TIE Institute with Teaching Innovation Awards 2022/2023.
For the master’s seminar "Design Thinking" Prof. Dr. Tessa Flatten, Désirée Martinez-Schroeder and Dominik Schmelter received the award for the area of practical relevance. The course's teaching concept impressed the jury with addressing current societal problems, its innovative teaching methods and individual mentoring to support the students.
In the area of internationalization, Prof. Dr. Steffen Strese and Michael Rammert were honored for the undergraduate lecture "Innovation and Growth Management". The course stood out for its active involvement of exchange students and its practice-oriented teaching of learning content.
